From our sommeliers
The red 'Andreis' from Vinas Mora originates in Primošten, a fishing village overlooking the Dalmatian coast, where the Babic vines cling to the living rock just steps from the sea. The project brings together over sixty small owners who hand-cultivate tiny vineyards divided by stone walls. Babic and Plavac mali macerate briefly in open barrels, with a passage in used oak for part of the mass. On the nose, cherry and currant, black pepper and a salty breeze open up, while on the palate it reveals savory and smooth. Perfect with intense meats, such as grilled beef diaphragm.
Colour:
Medium intensity ruby red with purple reflections
Scent:
Fresh with ripe cherry and currant, black pepper and Mediterranean scrub, all with a salty finish
Taste:
Savory and mineral, with a smooth drinkability, and a fine tannic structure
