The Etna Bianco 'Tenuta San Michele' by Murgo is born on the eastern slope of the volcano, where black and mineral sands give the wine its character. The winery, founded in 1860 on lands donated to the Scammacca family, selects the best grapes of Carricante and Catarratto right around the winery. After fermentation at controlled temperature, a partial aging in lightly toasted French oak barrique adds breadth and complexity. Aromas of broom, green fruit, and mineral notes precede a fresh, savory, and harmonious sip, with a citrusy and persistent finish. Perfect with Catalan lobster
