The Bourgueil 'Les Marsaules' from Domaine du Bel-Air is made from red grape varieties grown on a rare sandy soil for the area. Like the other cuvées from the winery, it matures for a long time in the ancient tuff caves of the domaine. On the nose, it reveals aromas of blackberry and wild strawberry, on an earthy and smoky background. On the palate, it is rich and balanced, with flavorful fruit and firm tannins, with a fresh and spicy finish that invites another sip, perfect with stewed wild boar or a cheese like Sainte-Maure de Touraine
