From our sommeliers
The Pinot Noir ‘Filari di Mazzon’ by Ferruccio Carlotto originates from the Mazzon hill, in South Tyrol, at the foot of the Monte Corno Natural Park. The vineyards, some planted in the early 2000s, grow on calcareous soils of fluvio-glacial origin, rich in skeleton and clay, an ideal condition for this delicate grape variety. The maceration lasts about ten days, with daily pump-overs and punch-downs, while the aging continues for twelve months in large barrels and barriques. On the nose, sweet notes of fruit, raspberry, and blackcurrant emerge, on the palate the sip is round, savory, and with dense tannins. Excellent with a roasted kid with mountain herbs

Fruity notes of raspberry and blackcurrant, spicy hints of black pepper, musky undertones on the finish
