Pinot Noir 'Groenlandberg' Oak Valley 2023

The Pinot Noir 'Groenlandberg' from Oak Valley originates at the foot of the mountain of the same name, an isolated rise covered with fynbos that dominates the Elgin valley in South Africa, over four hundred meters above sea level and a few kilometers from the ocean. The winery handles the grapes with great care, including a portion of whole clusters in fermentation. On the nose, it offers hints of strawberry, red blueberry, and cherry, with earthy notes, fresh mint, and a touch of cinnamon. On the palate, the tannin is soft and well-integrated, supported by a fresh and savory texture. Perfect with roast duck with forest berries.
