The Ribolla Gialla by Livio Felluga is a fresh, slender, and delicate white wine from Friuli, vinified and aged only in steel. It emanates pleasant olfactory sensations of fruit, citrus, and wildflowers. On the palate, it is very fresh, savory, citrusy, and well-balanced. Ideal for appetizers

The Ribolla Gialla by Livio Felluga is a white wine that expresses the truest and most authentic face of the Friulian lands at the border with Slovenia. This ancient white grape variety is, in fact, the most historically rich indigenous grape, a true icon of this region. Generous and rich, it is a variety that must be cultivated in the highest areas of the hills to produce great wines, where the soils are stonier and poorer, thus yielding little high-quality grapes. Livio Felluga's version perfectly reflects the best characteristics of the grape, with delicate citrus and fruity aromas and a sip of great mineral freshness.

The Ribolla Gialla wine is born within the walls of one of the most famous wineries in Friuli. Livio Felluga began producing wine in the post-war period and quickly established himself with a vision focused on uncompromising quality. His famous labels, which feature ancient maps of the territory, have become a true unmistakable brand and a symbol of excellence. His estate consists of various parcels in the area of Colli Orientali and Collio, with some extraordinary historical value, such as the famous vineyards of Rosazzo. Livio Felluga has always worked to enhance his land through the cultivation of indigenous grape varieties such as Ribolla Gialla, Picoloit, Refosco, and internationally recognized varieties historically present in Friuli, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Friulano, and Chardonnay. Even today, his wines are recognized as some of the best ambassadors of the Friulian territory and tradition.

The Ribolla Felluga is produced from grapes sourced from the most suitable vineyards in the Colli Orientali of Friuli. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and cold macerated for a short period. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling, the wine rests on the lees for several months in steel tanks. In the glass, it has a light straw-yellow color. The bouquet expresses aromas of orange blossom, wildflowers, aromatic herbs, fragrant notes of apple, and white-fleshed fruits. The sip is smooth and dynamic, with a mid-palate of delicate and elegant fruit that anticipates a salty finish characterized by a vibrant citrus freshness. It is a perfect white to enjoy at aperitif time or with delicate fish dishes.
