The Roero 'Anime' by Alberto Oggero expresses the finesse and elegance of Nebbiolo that grows on sandy soils. The vines are almost a century old and root deeply into the soft soil of Roero. The precious grapes ferment spontaneously in steel and meet old oak barrels for aging: after 1 year in barrel and an additional year in bottle, the wine is mature. On the nose, aromas of small red fruits, violet, and delicate spices are perceived, a typical profile of great pleasantness. On the palate, it shows dry and savory, with fine tannins and a long persistence. To be tried with braised beef
