The "Francesca" by Vigne Monica Coppi is a young, lively, and easy-drinking Timorasso, with a golden yellow color and green reflections. The aromatic profile is of medium intensity, developing floral aromas, plum, cedar, and field herbs, opening up to mineral tones. The sip is harmonious, well-balanced between softness and savoriness, with fruity hints.

The Timorasso “Francesca” from the Vigne Marina Coppi winery is a fresh and fragrant version of this great Piedmontese wine, made from a white grape variety mainly found in the Colli Tortonesi and Alessandrino areas. The Timorasso is a grape variety that has been recovered and rediscovered only in recent decades, thanks to the process of reevaluating native varieties and the commitment of some small producers. It is a wine with a distinct personality, expressing floral and fruity aromas, accompanied by characteristic mineral nuances that take over with bottle aging. Pleasant to drink young, it also has good longevity.

The Timorasso “Francesca” wine is a white that originates in the countryside of Castellania, in the province of Alessandria. It is in this area of Piedmont that the Vigne Marina Coppi winery is located. It is a young estate of just over 5 hectares, founded in 2003 with the aim of enhancing the classic grapes of the territory: Barbera, Favorita, Nebbiolo, Croatina, and especially Timorasso. The vineyards are cultivated at an altitude of about 400 meters, on steep hilly slopes, sunny and always ventilated. No herbicides or chemical fertilizers are used between the rows, and the management of the vineyards is carried out in harmony with the surrounding natural context, trying to minimize treatments. The grapes of excellent quality are the basis of a small production still made with extreme craftsmanship. The Vigne Marina Coppi labels have won over enthusiasts for their character of genuine authenticity.

The “Francesca” Timorasso from Vigne Marina Coppi is the most typical expression of the bond between grape variety and territory. It comes from young vineyards, cultivated in beautiful and sunny hillside exposures that reach 400 meters above sea level. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed, and fermentation takes place at controlled temperature with the classic white winemaking. The wine matures for 8 months in steel and completes the aging with another 5 months in the bottle. The Timorasso has an intense yellow color with bright golden reflections. The bouquet recalls the scents of wildflowers, aromas of ripe yellow fruit, and mineral hints. On the palate, it is tense and vertical, rich and expressive, with remarkable freshness.
