The Ribolla 'Veliko Vinia Java' by Movia originates in Vipolze, in the heart of the Slovenian Goriška Brda, from a single plot of about one hectare surrounding the historic Ceglo winery, led by Aleš Kristančič, the eighth generation of the family. The grapes ripen until the end of October and, after a short maceration on the skins, ferment spontaneously and then rest for a long time in used wood. On the nose, it offers yellow flowers, fig, honey, and toasted almond, with hints of vanilla and sweet spices, while on the palate it unfolds warm and slightly rough in tannin, supported by freshness and sapidity.
